The idea of a hyper-dense downtown workplace, fed daily by streams of commuters flowing in and out like tides, is no longer the dream. For most people, it's the nightmare.
Thanks Judy. There is nothing in this that City Planning hasn't heard loudly, clearly, and formally from a well-organized citizenry, heard in the community, or seen with their own eyes on the street as all of us plainly can.
Over 250 presumably good and decent people work at City Planning. None aim to hurt Nova Scotia, I am sure. So I suppose the question is, what is it about the organizational structure and culture at Planning through a generation that causes so much damage and misses the mark so widely?
