Cozy Winter Retreats
If you can’t make it to the ski hill but want to know what a cozy downtown ski lodge would feel like—complete with friendly staff, kids, dogs, and even a few cats—head to The Oxford on Quinpool morning, noon, or night. Down in the sunny South End you can get the same effect in the Cellar at the Henry House on Barrington.
For the ultimate winter atmosphere, push back the curtain at Quinn’s Arms and imagine you've walked into a Cotswold’s pub on a frosty English country day. With a pint in hand and the smell of hearty food in the air, it’s the perfect way to ride out the winter chill.
Whether you're braving the cold for live music, taking in a theater show, or finding a warm corner to unwind, Halifax has plenty to offer this week.
